Cruising from Ft. Myers to Anna Maria Isl Sept. 2009

Tom and Lisa join our adventure at Ft. Myer Yacht Basin.  After moving aboard in the guest stateroom we have a bite to eat and were on our way to Captiva Island Fla. Sept. 2009.
On our way we had to go through the "mile of terror" around the southern tip of Pine Island.
Then after the shallow water in the mile of terror in about an hour or so we intered the channel to South Seas Yacht Basin on Captiva Island.
Memories! Great Escape at the dock on Captiva as we leave for a moonlit walk on the beach.
 View of enterence channel.
Tom and Lisa at our table at the "Bubble Room"  This resturant is a "must" when on Captiva.
View off the flybridge in the marina.
Tom helps with new power cords.
After several days on Captiva we're on our way to Venice Fla. Swing bridge opening for us.
Crow's Nest Marina at Venice Fla.  Two minet walk to beach from our boat.
Tom and Lisa and me on our "tee" dock on Anna Maria Island.  They left us the next day and flew home to StL.  We stayed on a day or two before crossing Tampa Bay and on to Clearwater Fla.
